Huntsville police say one person was stabbed this afternoon.

According to police, officers responded to a call at the intersection of Derrick Street and Hall Ave. around 1:50 p.m.

HEMSI transported one person from the scene to Huntsville Hospital.

Police say the victim has life-threatening injuries.

Officers this afternoon were questioning someone identified only as a “person of interest.”
