A $29.7 million alteration at a Huntsville solar panel plant was the largest project issued a permit in the Huntsville area in the last two weeks.

According to Southern Exposure Information, the permit was issued to builder China Construction of America for the work at Runergy Alabama at 4905 Moores Mill Road in northeast Huntsville.

The Project at the solar panel production plants was one of four construction projects exceeding $1 million in Madison, Morgan and Limestone Counties.
