Huntsville Housing Authority helps residents on path to self-sufficiency, CEO says
Huntsville Housing Authority CEO and Executive Director Tony McGinnis finds himself in a unique position.
He can identify with the families his organization serves.
A Huntsville native, McGinnis grew up in public housing.
“I went to Terry Heights Elementary School, Stone Middle School, Butler High School,” McGinnis told the Lede. “None of those schools are here today.”
McGinnis earned a scholarship to play basketball at Texas A&M and played a couple of years professionally overseas after his playing days were over as an Aggie.
