District 1 Huntsville City Councilwoman Michelle Watkins said she is not opposed to the police department having access to city school system cameras in cases of an emergency.

“I oppose access that is not clearly defined and no tracking mechanism in place to ensure cameras are not accessed when there isn’t an emergency,” she told the Huntsville Times.
