Huntsville City Football Club a mixture of pro league, college players
A mixture of pro league and college players will take the field for Huntsville City Football Team when it faces USL’s Birmingham Legion this Saturday in an exhibition match at Protective Stadium.
They could be joined by players from Major League Soccer’s Nashville Soccer Club, Huntsville City FC’s parent club.
“There is some exciting talent in the group for sure,” Huntsville City FC coach Jack Collison said.
Huntsville City FC announced 10 players on its roster on Monday, joining former Canadian Premier League player Isaiah Johnston, the first player signed by the MLS NEXT Pro club.
Huntsville City FC opens regular season play on March 26.
