A man killed in a multi-vehicle cash in Bessemer earlier this week has now been identified.

The Jefferson County coroner’s Office on Friday identified the fatality victim as James Ardrokus Allen. He was 46 and lived in Hueytown.

The wreck happened at 11:27 a.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of Ninth Avenue S.W., according to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office. Allen was a passenger in one of the involved vehicles

He was pronounced dead on the scene at 11:41 a.m.

Bessemer police investigated the fatal wreck.
