HS Coaching News: St. James names replacement for Jimmy Perry
St. James didn’t look far for someone to replaces Hall of Fame football coach Jimmy Perry.
The Montgomery school announced Tuesday morning it was promoting offensive coordinator Neal Posey to head coach.
Perry retired earlier this year after leading the Trojans to their first state football title in December.
“I am incredibly humbled to be selected as the head football coach for the Saint James School football program,” Posey said in a school release. “My family and I are so grateful to be part of the Trojan family, and we are excited to build on the success of our state championship program as we move forward. It is our honor to continue working with these students and their families and helping them grow and develop as individuals, students, and athletes.”
