Initially, the Secret Sisters weren’t even considering it for the album. Yet, “All the Ways” has now been streamed over 3.6 million times on Spotify – about double the combined streams of the other 10 tracks on “Mind, Man, Medicine,” the Americana duo’s fifth studio LP, released this spring.

The seeds of “All the Ways” were among ideas siblings Laura Rogers and Lydia Slagel brought to sessions with coproducers John Paul White, a Grammy winner with pop-folk act Civil Wars, and Ben Tanner, erstwhile Alabama Shakes keyboardist.
