An all new episode of American Idol is scheduled to premiere on ABC Monday, April 29 at 8/7c.

During Monday night’s episode, the final eight will be cut down to the final seven as the contestant with the lowest total votes will be sent home.

American Idol will also pay a musical tribute to Mandisa, the former competitor whose death at age 47 in April shocked fans, according to previous reports.

Where can I watch American Idol season 22 without cable?

Those without basic cable can still live stream new episodes of American Idol on Sundays and Mondays with Fubo or DirecTV Stream.
