How to watch âThe Eric Andre Showâ season 6 premiere, where to stream
The raunchy late night talk show The Eric Andre Show is back for its sixth season set to premiere on Adult Swim this Sunday at 12/11c.
The first episode of the new season will feature guests Lil Nas X and Karrueche Tran. Viewers will also see Denzel Curry gets his teeth done while a Jewish exterminator hopes to “capture the mother of all flies before the High Holy Days.”
Though premiering on Adult Swim, those who have already ditched basic cable can still live stream Sunday’s episode with Sling or DirecTV Stream. If you’re unsure which one to go with for the season premiere, we can break it down.
What is the difference between Sling and DirecTV Stream?
Sling is considered one of the cheaper live streaming services available. It offers three different channel packages for its users: Sling Orange, Sling Blue and Sling Orange + Blue, all of which come with the Cartoon Network/Adult Swim channel.
Sling Blue and Sling Orange are both $40 per month, but offer different channel selections.
The main difference between the two packages is simply the line of ESPN channels offered with Sling Orange as opposed to channels such as Fox News, MSNBC, Discovery and Bravo offered with Sling Blue.
Meanwhile, Sling Orange + Blue is simply both packages combined for $55 a month. Be sure to check out the full breakdown between all three packages here.
DirecTV Stream, however, is meant for those looking for an alternative to regular cable, but with more channel options.
At $64.99 a month, its base package comes with a little over 75 live channels after its free trial. Those interested can check out all of DirecTV Stream’s channel packages here.
What is The Eric Andre Show about?
The official description of The Eric Andre Show is as follows:
Comedian Eric Andre hosts a late night show that parodies low-budget public-access programs and brings the talk genre to another level — not in a good way.
It features interviews with celebrities — some really are, and others are impersonators — and what producers describe as “extreme real-life weirdos” interspersed with “deranged” man-on-the-street segments and just general chaos in the studio.
Working with Andre is apathetic sidekick Hannibal Buress, who serves as the straight man to the hyperactive host.
