Who is Ringo Starr?
Starr is best known for his time spent as drummer for the Beatles. After replacing the original Beatles drummer Randolph Best, Starr won fans over with his present personality.
Along with the other members of the Beatles, Starr launched a solo career just before the band broke up in 1970. He went on to appear in films and released his first two solo albums “Sentimental Journey” and “Beaucoups of Blues”—both of which were released in 1970.
Some of his most well-known hits include “It Don’t Come Easy,” “Back Off Boogaloo,” “Photograph,” and “You’re Sixteen.” With an impressive record both with the iconic Beatles band and his very own solo career, Starr was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, first with the Beatles in 1988 and again in 2015.
