The official start of summer is still a couple of weeks way, but temperatures are expected to approach 90 this weekend in the Huntsville area.

Electric bills are normally their highest during the summer months as residents try to stay cool and stay out of the humidity. But Huntsville Utilities, Decatur Utilities and TVA officials say there are ways to keep bills low and homes adequately cool.
