How to get tickets to Lil Wayne’s sold out Birmingham show this April
It was announced earlier this week that Lil Wayne will be performing at Iron City Birmingham April 24, 2023 for his “Welcome to Tha Carter Tour.”
Pre-sale for the tour kicked off Tuesday while general sale began 10 a.m. Friday. However, fans had a small window of opportunity to purchase tickets as they quickly sold out.
The quick sellout seems to be attributed to the size of the venue the rapper booked for the Birmingham show, which holds about 1,300 people, as compared to a venue like the Legacy Arena at the BJCC, which holds roughly 18,000 people.
However, there is still an opportunity to purchase tickets through official resale sites such as Seat Geek, Vivid Seats and Stub Hub.
These are tickets that have already been purchased from Ticketmaster, providing more opportunities for fans to see their favorite artists such as Lil Wayne.
Seat Geek in particular will let the buyer know if the seller is actually offering a fair price for their tickets or not. However, because Iron City Birmingham is a general admission venue, front row access is first come first serve.
Ticket prices are decided by the individuals selling the tickets, however, because there is currently a high demand, each ticket is re-selling for about $200 each.
Those who purchase tickets through Vivid Seats can save $20 on ticket orders over $200 with the promo code ‘AL20′ at checkout. This promo code will work for any tickets purchased through Vivid Seats.
