How to buy Nike Kobe 6 Protro âReverse Grinchâ shoes today
Nike is dropping the Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Reverse Grinch” sneakers on Friday, Dec. 15.
This Kobe 6 Protro takes a coveted colorway from 2010 and reverses it. Sleek and scaly, the Bright Crimson upper goes bold with Electric Green highlights and a snake pattern inspired by the late Kobe Bryant’s “Black Mamba” nickname. It’s fitted with a flexible Zoom Air unit and responsive foam — and with a scaled-down traction pattern, you’re getting a lighter shoe.
The show pays homage to the Kobe 6 “Grinch” sneakers that Bryant wore for his Christmas Day game in 2010.
In an Instagram story last week, Vanessa Bryant, the widow of Kobe Bryant, said the “Reverse Grinch” will be released with three times the units “it’s ever been before.” She also added that more frequent Nike Kobe releases are on the way and that she hopes her and Nike can get to a place where more of the demand can be met.
