A true dose of fall is coming to Alabama this weekend.

A cold front will move through today, bringing a chance of rain for some, but it will also bring a shot of cooler and drier air.

And all of the state will get a taste of it before the weekend is over.

The first truly chilly nights of the season are in the forecast for tonight, Saturday night and Sunday night.

Some spots in Alabama could possibly dip into the 30s on Saturday night.

Highs Saturday and Sunday will also be pleasant for those who like cooler weather. Highs are expected to climb only into the 60s in north and central Alabama and 70s in south Alabama both Saturday and Sunday.
