The weather service said frost advisories will not be out of the question for parts of northern Alabama this week but hadn’t issued any as of Tuesday morning.

Forecasters also are not expecting any rain over the next week, which could cause drought conditions in Alabama to get worse.

Temperatures are expected to begin to moderate starting on Thursday, with warmer weather expected over the weekend.
