Home invasion robbery in north Jefferson County leaves 1 injured, 3 in custody
An investigation is underway after a home invasion at a northern Jefferson County home.
The ordeal began just before 7 p.m. Saturday at a residence in the 300 block of Reed Way.
Kimberly police Chief Ricky Pridmore said few details can be released because of the ongoing investigation. He described the incident as a home invasion, kidnapping and robbery.
No one was actually taken from the residence. One person at the home was injured.
Three suspects – two females and a male – are in custody.
More information and formal charges are expected on Monday.
“It is very unusual for this community,’’ Pridmore said. “There is no danger to the public. It has been isolated.”
