Home goods retailer closing 26 stores: Here’s list of locations

Bankrupt home goods chain At Home is closing 26 stores.

The Texas-based chain filed for bankruptcy Monday, citing weakened customer demand and pressures related to the new Trump administration tariffs. The chain will close 26 “underperforming” stores by Sept. 30.

At Home operates more than 250 stores, including three Alabama locations in Mobile, Trussville, and Hoover.

Ownership of At Home is being transferred to a hedge fund and investment groups.

“We are pleased to have reached this agreement with our lenders, which represents a critical and positive advancement of our work to best position At Home for the future,” said Brad Weston, Chief Executive Officer of At Home. “While we have made significant progress advancing our initiatives to date, we are operating against the backdrop of an increasingly dynamic and rapidly evolving trade environment as we navigate the impact of tariffs.”
