Get ready to bust a gut: Etta May is bringing her homespun comedy on tour in 2024.

Etta May has her own brand of clean comedy that she has showcased on “Oprah,” Showtime, Comic Strip Live, MTV and as a guest commentator on “CBS Sunday Morning.”

The Bald Knob, Ark., native will be at Huntsville’s Stand Up Live for five performances May 16-19.

Etta May won the Comic of the Year Award from the prestigious American Comedy Awards and acts as headliner to the all-female comedy tour, “Etta May and the Southern Fried Chicks.” Her website says: “Think Blue Collar Comedy Tour with better hair and a bigger attitude! In addition to television, Etta May is a regular on Sirius-XM Comedy Channels and the syndicated Bob & Tom radio show.”
