Here’s how Will Levis’ girlfriend, Gia Duddy, celebrated QB to Tennessee Titans
Will Levis finally got his name called during the NFL Draft, but it was long after his girlfriend – Penn State’s Gia Duddy – made her mark over the weekend, going viral to a whole new audience.
As the former Kentucky quarterback waited to hear his name called, Duddy’s following increased. Finally, the Tennessee Titans traded up eight spots with Arizona and drafted the quarterback with the No. 33 pick overall Friday night.
After Levis was selected, Duddy, 21, broke her social media silence after the draft to relay how she felt about Levis’ landing spot.
“Let’s ride @will_levis @titans,” Duddy posted in an Instagram story.
She also later posted listening to Morgan Wallen’s “Tennessee Fan,” and captioned it “huge Tennessee fan.”
Duddy’s social media followers continue to climb.
Meanwhile, Levis will start as their third quarterback behind veteran Ryan Tannehill and backup Malik Willis.
Levis flew home Friday and said he was eating after just walking through the door at home just as his name was called. Levis said he left Kansas City to make sure he got home in time for a big family gathering planned for Saturday believing he would be drafted in the first round Thursday night.
TV cameras kept going back to Levis and his family over and over through the first round as they waited at the NFL’s big draft party in Kansas City.
Three quarterbacks were taken in the first four picks, then nothing until the Titans traded up for the second pick of the second round Friday night.
