Talking on a cell phone while driving through Huntsville could end up costing motorists beginning Monday.

That’s when the enforcement phase begins for Huntsville’s updated hands-free ordinance. At that time, motorists may be pulled over and receive a citation for holding a cell phone or digital device while driving. The revised ordinance increased violations from a secondary to a primary offense.
