What should I cook when it’s too hot outside to cook?

That is a question being asked all over the world these waning Dog Days of summer. And it’s a tough one to answer.

You could probably fry an egg on the sidewalk, it’s that hot outside. But while that might work it will result in a messy sidewalk and a dirty egg so let’s just skip over that one.

Short of ordering a pizza or dining out, there really isn’t much a home chef can do.
