Heat advisory for East Central Alabama until Thursday night
On Wednesday at 1:21 a.m. a heat advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid from 11 a.m. until Thursday 9 p.m. for Tallapoosa, Lee and Russell counties.
The weather service states, “Heat index values up to 105 degrees expected.”
“Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses,” explains the weather service.
