Hangout launches early bird sale on Thursday; lineup coming later
The Hangout Music Fest is about to open a short ticket sale featuring “the lowest prices offered for 2024,” and there’s just one catch: The lineup won’t be revealed until January.
The 2024 festival takes place May 17-19 in Gulf Shores. A four-day sale, announced Tuesday via the festival’s social media channels, starts at 11 a.m. Central time on Thursday, Nov. 30, and ends at 11:59 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3.
Prices before fees, as listed at www.hangoutmusicfest.com, are:
General Admission: $279 early bird, later rising to $299 in the “first wave” and then to $319 in the “second wave.”
GA Plus: $499 early bird, rising to $519 and then $539.
VIP: $1,199 early bird, rising to $1,299 and then $1,499.
Super VIP: $2,199 early bird, rising to $2,299 and then $2,499.
Beach vacation packages, including accommodations and shuttle passes, will be available for groups of two or four people at a starting early bird price of $300 plus fees per person per night. The top option, “Hangout House” vacation packages including four nights at the Phoenix All Suites and Super VIP passes for two, works out to $8,257 plus fees, or $1,032.13 per person per night.
Two-installment payment plans are an option, with 50% due at checkout and the other 50% due on Dec. 31.
Compared to prices for the 2023 fest, the pricing structure for 2024 seems to be a mix of decreases in some categories and increases in others. For example, 2023 GA tickets started at $319, which is higher than this year’s early bird offer. GA Plus started at $499, the same as this year; Super VIP ticket started at $1,999, which is lower than this year’s early bird offer.
Top acts at the 2023 event included the Red Hot Chili Peppers, SZA, and Lil Nas X, Calvin Harris and Paramore.
