Hail of gunfire in Bessemer neighborhood leaves 3 injured
Three people were injured when gunfire rang out in a Bessemer neighborhood.
The shooting happened about 2:30 p.m. in the 2700 block of Eight Avenue North.
Det. Justin Burmeister said two men and a woman were injured. The shooting appears to have happened both inside and outside of a house in that area, though a motive has not yet been determined.
The conditions of the victims weren’t immediately known, he said.
Investigators put down more than 80 evidence markers noting shell casings.
No arrests have been made.
