Guntersville running back Julyon Jordan commits to South Alabama

Guntersville High School running back Julyon Jordan has committed to South Alabama, he announced Monday.

Jordan (5-foot-11, 175 pounds) chose the Jaguars over multiple Power 4 conference schools. He was also offered by Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt and Virginia, in addition to Troy.

Jordan is South Alabama’s seventh commitment for the 2025 class, third from an in-state player. LeFlore offensive lineman Antonio Gibbs and Opelika defensive lineman E’Mauri Smiley are also pledged to the Jaguars.

The early signing period for the 2025 class begins in December.
