Sophomore quarterback Gunner Rivers threw two touchdown passes and scored another on the ground as St. Michael edged John Carroll 20-19 in the Cardinals’ first official on-campus home game.

Rivers’ 32-yard TD pass to Cooper Kurth gave St. Michael the lead for good as the team improved to 2-0.
