A Georgia woman was killed when she was hit by a car on a Talladega roadway.

Alabama state troopers on Tuesday identified the fatality victim as Gi’kia B. Green. She was 23 and lived in Jackson, Ga.

The crash happened at 11:30 p.m. Saturday on Alabama 21 near Reinier Lane, which is in the city of Munford.

Senior Trooper Brandon Bailey said Green was struck by a Lexus ES330 driven by 55-year-old Pamlynn S. Montgomery.

Green was pronounced dead on the scene.

The investigation is ongoing by troopers.
