2 SEC offenses have not produced a play that has gained at least 60 yards this season – Alabama and Georgia. The Bulldogs’ longest gain is a 56-yard completion from QB Brock Vandagriff to WR Rara Thomas in a 48-7 victory over UT Martin on Sept. 2. The Vanderbilt defense has allowed two plays that have gained at least 60 yards this season.

3 Consecutive games for Georgia TE Brock Bowers with more than 100 receiving yards. Bowers had nine receptions for 121 yards and two TDs versus UAB, eight receptions for 157 yards and one TD versus Auburn and seven receptions for 131 yards and one TD versus Kentucky. Bowers ranks seventh in receptions, sixth in receiving yards and second in TD receptions in Georgia history.

3 Victories, 32 losses and one tie for Vanderbilt when facing a ranked Georgia team. The Commodores upended the Bulldogs in 1991, 2006 and 2013 and earned a tie in 1985.

5 Consecutive games have included 36 or more points for Vanderbilt’s opponent. Only once in SEC history has a conference member yielded at least 36 points in more than five consecutive games. In 2012, Tennessee lost to Georgia 51-44, Mississippi State 41-13, Alabama 44-13 and South Carolina 38-35, defeated Troy 55-48 and lost to Missouri 51-48 and Vanderbilt 41-18 for a seven-game streak. Vanderbilt has lost to Wake Forest 36-20, UNLV 40-37, Kentucky 45-28, Missouri 38-21 and Florida 38-14 in its past five games.

5 Years since Vanderbilt reached the end zone against Georgia. On Oct. 6, 2018, Josh Crawford scored a TD on a 2-yard run with two seconds left in the Commodores’ 41-13 loss to Georgia. In 2019, Georgia defeated Vanderbilt 30-6, the teams did not play in 2020, the Bulldogs beat the Commodores 62-0 in 2021 and 55-0 in 2022.

7 Teams have not recovered an opponent’s fumble this season, including two SEC members – Georgia and Missouri. The Bulldogs’ opponents have fumbled three times this season. Vanderbilt has lost the most fumbles in the SEC this season with five.

9 Previous games against the No. 1 team in the AP Poll for Vanderbilt. The Commodores have lost them all and been shut out five times, including a 55-0 loss to Georgia last season.

10 Years since the previous time a Georgia QB had three consecutive 300-yard passing games, as Carson Beck has in the Bulldogs’ past three games with 338 against UAB, 313 against Auburn and 389 against Kentucky. Georgia QB Aaron Murray started the 2013 season with 323 passing yards against Clemson, 309 against South Carolina and 408 against North Texas. In the fourth game of the 2013 season, Murray had 298 passing yards against LSU.

10 Consecutive October games have been won by Georgia, the SEC’s longest current winning streak in the 10th month.

14 More points have been scored by Georgia in the second quarter this season than the Bulldogs’ opponents have scored in the season. Georgia has scored 92 of its season total of 244 points in the second quarter, while opponents have scored 78 points against the Bulldogs for the entirety of the 2023 season.

22 Consecutive conference regular-season games have been won by Georgia. The Bulldogs have had one longer winning streak in SEC play. A 23-game streak that began in 1980 was ended by a 13-7 loss to Auburn on Nov. 12, 1983. Georgia has the fifth conference winning streak in SEC history that has reached 22 games. The record is a 27-game SEC streak achieved by Alabama across the 1976, 1977, 1978, 1979 and 1980 seasons.

23 Consecutive victories for Georgia, the longest winning streak in program history. Georgia’s most recent loss was a 41-24 setback against Alabama in the SEC Championship Game on Dec. 4, 2021. The Bulldogs are tied for the fourth-longest winning streak in SEC history. The league record is 28 wins in row accomplished by Alabama during the 1978, 1979 and 1980 seasons and equaled by the Crimson Tide during the 1991, 1992 and 1993 seasons.

33 Consecutive regular-season games have been won by Georgia, tied for the longest streak in SEC history. The Bulldogs haven’t lost in the regular season since a 44-28 setback against Florida on Nov. 7, 2020. Tennessee also won 33 consecutive regular-season games between a 13-7 loss to Vanderbilt on Nov. 13, 1937, and a 19-0 loss to Duke on Oct. 4, 1941. The 33-game streaks are tied for the 11th-longest in major-college football history. Next on the list is a 34-game streak posted by Pennsylvania between a 26-4 loss to Harvard on Nov. 30, 1893, and a 6-4 setback against Lafayette on Oct. 24, 1896. After the loss to Lafayette, Penn won its next 31 games.

53 Losses without a victory for Vanderbilt in games against teams ranked in the top five of the AP Poll. The Commodores have lost 20 in a row to ranked teams since a 14-7 victory over No. 18 Kansas State on Sept. 16, 2017, and have lost 24 in a row to opponents ranked in the top 10 since a 17-6 victory over No. 6 South Carolina on Oct. 20, 2007. The Gamecocks are tied for the highest-ranked team beaten by Vanderbilt. The Commodores also upended No. 6 LSU 7-6 on Oct. 23, 1937.

60 Victories for Georgia, 20 victories for Vanderbilt and two ties in the Bulldogs-Commodores series.

85 Yards were covered on a TD pass from Vanderbilt QB Ken Seals to WR Will Sheppard in the Commodores’ 38-14 loss to Florida last week It’s the longest completion in the SEC this season and the longest for Vanderbilt since Marcus Wilson connected with Clarence Sevillian for 88 yards in a 29-25 loss to Tennessee on Nov. 28, 1992.

365 Games have been played by Georgia since it was most recently shut out, the second-longest scoring streak in SEC history and the third-longest in major-college football history. The Bulldogs haven’t been blanked since losing to Alabama 31-0 on Sept. 30, 1995.

11,763 Career punting yards for Vanderbilt P Matthew Hayball. Hayball is the only punter in any of the NCAA’s four divisions of football who has more than 11,000 punting yards.
