For the Buckeyes, Miyan Williams has 817 yards and 13 TDs on 125 carries, TreVeyon Henderson has 571 yards and six TDs on 107 carries and Dallan Hayden has 510 yards and five TDs on 102 carries.

3 Plays from scrimmage involving Georgia TE Brock Bowers have gained at least 70 yards, tied with TCU WR Taye Barber, Louisiana-Monroe WR Tyrone Howell and Nebraska WR Trey Palmer for the most in the nation this season. Bowers had a 78-yard TD reception in a 48-7 victory over South Carolina on Sept. 17, a 75-yard TD run in a 39-22 victory over Kent State on Sept. 24 and a 73-yard TD reception in a 42-20 victory over Florida on Oct. 30. Ohio State’s defense has allowed four plays that gained at least 70 yards in 2022, tied for the most in the Big Ten.

Georgia defeated Maryland 17-16 on Dec. 28, 1973, Virginia 35-33 on Dec. 31, 1998, Virginia Tech 31-24 on Dec. 30, 2006, and Cincinnati 24-21 on Jan. 1, 2021, and lost to Syracuse 19-18 on Dec. 30, 1989, and Virginia 34-27 on Dec. 30, 1995. Georgia coach Kirby Smart played in the 1995 and 1998 games. Ohio State has never played in the Peach Bowl.

Tennessee defeated Indiana 27-22 on Jan. 2, 1988, Auburn defeated Indiana 27-23 on Dec. 29, 1990, and Florida defeated Michigan 41-15 on Dec. 29, 2018.

26 Consecutive seasons with a bowl for Georgia, the longest active streak in the nation and the longest streak in SEC history. The Bulldogs’ most recent season without a bowl came in 1996, when Georgia posted a 5-6 record. With its Peach Bowl appearance, Georgia surpasses Alabama’s SEC record of 25 consecutive seasons with a bowl established from 1959 through 1983. Georgia has a 34-21-3 bowl record.

44.5 Points per game have been scored by Ohio State in 2022, the second-highest scoring average in the nation entering the bowl season. Georgia has yielded an average of 12.8 points per game in 2022, the second-lowest in the nation entering the bowl season.

73 Consecutive Ohio State games have featured at least 20 points for the Buckeyes, which is the longest such streak in major-college football history. Ohio State has scored at least 20 points in every game since a 31-16 loss to Oklahoma on Sept. 9, 2017. Ohio State broke the record on Nov. 5 in a 21-7 victory over Northwestern. The Buckeyes surpassed the standard of 69 established by Oklahoma before the Sooners’ streak ended in a 16-13 victory over West Virginia on Sept. 25, 2021.

76.9 Rushing yards per game have been allowed by Georgia in 2022, the lowest average in the nation entering the bowl season. The Bulldogs’ opponents have averaged 2.9 yards per carry, with 1,001 yards and five TDs on 341 rushing attempts. Ohio State’s offense has averaged 198.5 rushing yards per game while averaging 5.5 yards per carry.

97.2 Percent of Georgia’s red-zone possessions have resulted in points for the Bulldogs in 2022, the best rate in the nation entering the bowl season. Georgia has scored 69 times – 48 TDs and 21 field goals – on 71 possessions inside its opponent’s 20-yard line. Georgia also has the nation’s best red-zone defense. The Bulldogs’ opponents have scored on 60.7 percent of their possessions inside the Georgia 20-yard line with nine TDs and eight field goals in 28 possessions.

176.25 Passing-efficiency rating for Ohio State QB C.J. Stroud in 2022, the highest in the nation entering the bowl season. Stroud has completed 235-of-355 passes for 3,340 yards with 37 TDs and six interceptions.

357 Games have been played by Georgia since it was most recently shut out, the second-longest scoring streak in SEC history and the sixth-longest in major-college football history. The Bulldogs haven’t been blanked since losing to Alabama 31-0 on Sept. 30, 1995.
