Georgia running back Trevor Etienne won’t play vs. Clemson, reports say

Georgia running back Trevor Etienne won’t play Saturday vs. Clemson while serving a one-game suspension, according to multiple reports.

Etienne transferred to Georgia from Florida after the 2023 season. He was arrested in March for reckless driving and suspicion of DUI, but had the charges dismissed as part of a plea deal.

Etienne rushed for 1,472 yards and 14 touchdowns in two seasons at Florida. He is the younger brother of former Clemson star and current Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne.

Georgia lost its top two rushers from 2023, Daijuan Edwards and Kendall Milton, to professional football. Sophomore Roderick Robinson, who rushed for 196 yards in limited duty last season, is the Bulldogs’ leading returning rusher.

No. 1 Georgia and No. 14 Clemson kick off at 11 a.m. at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The game will air live on ABC.
