Georgia receiver AD Mitchell enters transfer portal
Georgia wide receiver AD Mitchell has entered the transfer portal.
The news was first reported by On3 Sports.
Mitchell, a rising junior, has three years to play two since he still has a redshirt. He is the second receiver this week to transfer from Georgia after Dominick Blaylock, a rising fifth-year senior with two years of eligibility remaining, entered the portal earlier this week.
Georgia is coming its second straight College Football Playoff national championship.
The Texas native caught 29 passes for 426 yards and four touchdowns as a freshman, including a go-ahead touchdown in the national championship game against Alabama.
An ankle injury sidelined Mitchell for most of the 2022 season. He played in just three games during the regular season, catching five passes for 69 yards and a touchdown.
