Georgia-based contractor to locate in Bibb County, creating 50 jobs

Georgia-based Rado Mechanical Group is coming to the Bibb County Industrial Park.

The electrical and mechanical contracting firm, headquartered in Conyers, Ga., will occupy a 20,000-square-foot facility on a 22-acre site in Woodstock.

The Bibb County Economic & Industrial Development Authority announced the move, which it says will create 50 new jobs.

Rado Mechanical Group specializes in mechanical, electrical, controls, structural, sheet metal, rigging, drafting, water jetting, plasma cutting, and field maintenance service.

Russell Carlisle, vice president of business development of Rado Mechanical Group, said the investment “underscores our confidence in the region’s workforce, infrastructure, and commitment to industrial expansion.”

The project is supported by the Bibb County Commission, Alabama Department of Commerce, Bibb County Economic & Industrial Development Authority, West Alabama Works, Alabama Power Company, Birmingham Business Alliance and other partners.

“We are thrilled to welcome Rado Mechanical Group to the Bibb County Industrial Park,” Woodstock Mayor Jeff Dodson said.

“This investment not only strengthens our local economy but also creates new opportunities for growth and job creation in our community. We look forward to seeing the positive impact Rado Mechanical will have on our region.”
