A garbage truck left the road and collided with a house in Madison this morning, damaging it and three cars.

Don Webster with Huntsville Emergency Medical Services said the incident happened at about 10:45 a.m.

One person, the driver, was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash happened on Sullivan Street and Grayson Avenue.

No one was inside the home when the collision happened.
