Kelleigh Gamble has joined the Housing Authority of the Birmingham District as vice president of strategic initiatives, the authority announced today.

He also oversaw $1.5 million in repairs to Birmingham homes through the Healthy Housing initiative and disbursed more than $2 million in emergency rental assistance to Birmingham families during the pandemic.
With the Housing Authority, Gamble will lead the Magic City Housing Development Corporation, an affordable housing provider, acquiring vacant and commercial land for development and home ownership.

He also serves in the Alabama caucus for the Federation of Appalachian Housing Enterprises, on the community advisory board for Valley National Bank and as chairman for the Omega Scholarship and Benevolent Fund.
