Frost possible tonight; how cold could it get?

A chill will be in the air tonight in Alabama, according to forecasters.

The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory that will go into effect early Sunday morning for north Alabama and north-central Alabama.

Temperatures could reach the 30s in those spots overnight, which could be hazardous for pets and new plants if left unprotected.
