Frost advisory tonight for part of Alabama
Some parts of Alabama woke up on Monday to temperatures in the 20s and 30s. One more chilly night is ahead, and frost advisories have been issued for areas in the state.
Here are some temperatures around the Alabama as of 6 a.m. Monday from the National Weather Service:

* Anniston: 33
* Birmingham: 35
* Decatur: 29
* Demopolis: 38
* Dothan: 48
* Eufaula: 38
* Evergreen: 44
* Gadsden: 30
* Greenville: 40
* Haleyville: 28
* Huntsville: 36
* Mobile: 48
* Montgomery: 38
* Muscle Shoals: 34
* Ozark: 49
* Selma: 34
* Talladega: 32
* Troy: 39
* Tuscaloosa: 36
Tonight will also be cold, but not quite as cold at this morning.
However, it will still be chilly enough to damage sensitive plants, and the National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory for some areas in central Alabama.
* A frost advisory will be in effect from 4 a.m. until 9 a.m. Tuesday for Marion, Fayette, Winston, Walker, Blount, Etowah, Calhoun, Cherokee, Cleburne, Jefferson, Shelby, St. Clair, Talladega, Clay, Randolph, Lamar, Pickens, Tuscaloosa, Sumter, Greene, Hale, Perry, Bibb, Chilton, Coosa, Tallapoosa, Chambers, Marengo, Dallas, Autauga, Lowndes, Montgomery, Macon, Bullock, Lee, Russell, Elmore, Pike and Barbour counties.
The National Weather Service said temperatures overnight tonight could range from 33 to 37 degrees in those areas.
Look for a big warmup as the week goes on. Highs today will be in the 60s statewide:
Tuesday will see another warmup, with highs climbing into the 70s:
Highs could reach the 80s in Alabama by Thursday, but another weather system will bring in higher rain chances by Thursday night and Friday and slightly cooler temperatures.
So far there is no severe weather in the forecast for Alabama for the upcoming week.
