Fox News names Lawrence Jones as new Fox & Friends co-host

Fox & Friends is getting a new co-host.

Lawrence Jones has been named a co-host of the early morning show, joining Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt and Brian Kilmeade from 6 a.m.-9 a.m. ET (5 a.m.-8 a.m. CT) starting Monday, Sept. 18. Jones will also continue his role as an enterprise reporter with the show, according to a release from the network.

“Lawrence has his finger on the pulse of what matters to communities across America and his insight has proved invaluable to the FOX & Friends audience. We look forward to welcoming him to our family as he wakes up America alongside our star co-hosts each morning,” FNC’s senior vice president of morning programming Gavin Hadden said in a statement.

Jones’ weekend program, Lawrence Jones Cross Country, will end and One Nation with Brian Kilmeade will now air at 9 p.m. ET (8 p.m. CT) on Saturday evenings.

At 30 years old, Jones is the youngest Black co-host in cable news. He first joined Fox News Channel in 2018 and, in 2021, was named Fox & Friends’ enterprise reporter. Jones has also filled in as a guest host with FNC’s primetime programming.
