Fort Walton Beach man crashes car into Waffle House
A 74-year-old man drove the car through the front window of a Waffle House in Navarre, Fla., Wednesday afternoon, according to area media reports and the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).
The incident happened about 3 p.m. Wednesday, according to WEAR in Pensacola.
The FHP said the vehicle, driven by a Fort Walton Beach man, went over the curb in front of the restaurant and crashed through the front window. Pictures show the car came to rest with the front of car from the windshield forward inside the Waffle House.
While no one was injured in the incident, the man’s daughter said he may have had a medical incident when the crash occurred, according to the Pensacola News Journal. EMS personnel cleared the man to leave the scene.
No other details were released.
