Former WWE, WCW wrestler arrested for stabbing man in gas station fight

Charles Scaggs, known as wrestler 2 Cold Scorpio, said it was self-defense after he was arrested in Missouri for stabbing a man.

Scaggs, who is a security guard at the Love’s Travel Stop in Kansas City, told police he saw a man lighting a cigarette inside the store and confronted him on June 15, according to a TMZ report.

Per the report, the former WWE and WCW star told police the man got angry and yelled obscenities at him, and they grappled outside before he pulled out a knife and stabbed him.

Per Wrestle Zone, Scaggs told police he stabbed the man “a few more times.” Police, according to the report, said they found the man “bleeding from his head, chest, buttocks, legs and abdomen.” They said the man was “in and out of consciousness” while being carried to the hospital.

TMZ reports Scaggs was charged with two felonies.

The 58-year-old Scaggs was best known as 2 Cold Scorpio and as Flash Funk in the WWE.
