Former Ole Miss RB Quinshon Judkins commits to Ohio State

Moments after Michigan won the national championship on Monday night, perhaps the highest-profile player in the NCAA transfer portal committed to the Wolverines’ arch-rival.

Quinshon Judkins, the former Ole Miss running back and Montgomery native, announced he was headed to Ohio State. Judkins (5-foot-11, 220 pounds) has two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Judkins, who led Pike Road High School to a state championship in 2021, is a two-time first-team All-SEC pick. He rushed for 2,725 yards and 31 touchdowns in his two seasons at Ole Miss, including 1,158 yards and 15 scores in 2023.

Ohio State went 11-2 in 2023, losing to Missouri in the Cotton Bowl. Junior running back TreVeyon Henderson, who totaled 926 yards and 11 touchdowns for the Buckeyes this past season, is expected to enter the 2024 NFL draft, but has not yet publicly announced his plans.
