Entering his fourth year as a high school head coach, former NFL quarterback Philip Rivers is starting to see substantial progress at St. Michael Catholic.

The Cardinals made the playoffs for the first time in 2023 and have a slew of talented skill players returning this season. They also will play on campus on Friday nights the first time this fall after borrowing Fairhope’s field for their first seven years of varsity football.
