Former Jacksonville State football players sign with NFL teams on undrafted free agent deals

Despite not being picked in the 2025 NFL Draft, some former Jacksonville State football players are set to signs a professional contract.

Here is a running list of those signed to deals:

Clay Webb, offensive lineman — Denver Broncos

Despite being projected by multiple outlets as a Day 3 pick in the NFL Draft, the offensive lineman was undrafted and signed with the Denver Broncos shortly after the conclusion of the draft.

The offensive lineman claimed All-Conference USA honors in 2023 and 2024 along with AP All-America honors in 2023 as the Gamecocks’ left guard. He played in 36 games across three seasons in Jacksonville.

Tre Stewart, running back — Minnesota Vikings

Stewart shined in his lone season in Jacksonville, running for 1,604 yards and 23 touchdowns on 264 attempts (6.1 ypc) as he claimed Conference USA Newcomer of the Year honors. He also hauled in 15 catches for 200 yards and a touchdown.

Before transferring to Jax State, he spent three seasons at Division II Limestone where he ran for 2,994 yards and 24 touchdowns across 32 games.
