Former Auburn receiver Landen King will continue his career at Utah, he announced Wednesday.

King, a redshirt sophomore, entered the transfer portal for the second time on April 30. He initially entered the portal at the end of the 2022 season, but elected to return for the spring before leaving again.

King (6-foot-5, 209 pounds) was a three-star recruit in Auburn’s 2021 class out of Atascocita High School in Humble, Texas. He originally played tight end for the Tigers before moving to wide receiver.

King played in 11 games over two seasons with the Tigers, catching a total of six passes for 83 yards and a touchdown. Most famously, he made a one-handed touchdown catch in overtime to tie the 2022 Iron Bowl, which Auburn eventually lost 24-22 in four extra periods.

Utah, the defending Pac-12 champion, opens the 2023 season at home vs. Florida on Aug. 31.
