Davis played in the final five games of the 2022 season for the Cleveland Browns, getting on the field for 71 special-teams plays.

Since earning a spot in the NFL as an undrafted rookie in 2018, Davis has played in 45 regular-season games with 427 defensive snaps and 684 special-teams plays.

As an undrafted rookie in 2018 with the New York Giants, Davis played 343 defensive snaps and 196 special-teams plays as he made 33 tackles and recorded the only two sacks of his career in 14 games. Released by the Giants four games into his second season, Davis joined the Browns as a waiver claim.

Since leaving the Giants, Davis has been almost exclusively a special-teamer, with 25 defensive snaps and 429 special-teams plays in 27 games.

Davis joined the Houston Texans in free agency in 2021, but he missed the season on injured reserve. With the Las Vegas Raiders in 2022, Davis again got hurt during training camp.

Davis didn’t join Cleveland until Nov. 29, and he became a regular contributor on special teams two weeks later.

After recording a 100-tackle season for Oxford in 2013, Davis went to Chattanooga. He spent three seasons with the Mocs as a safety before moving to linebacker as a senior.
