Former Alabama DL headed to the Buffalo Bills

DJ Dale joined the list of Alabama players signed to free agent deals after the NFL draft concluded.

The defensive lineman was picked up by the Buffalo Bills after going undrafted in the seven-round draft.

A Clay-Chalkville grad, Dale was a starter over the past four seasons in Tuscaloosa. Injuries limited action at some point nearly every season with the Crimson Tide as he completed his senior season with 17 tackles (3.5 for loss) including 2.5 sacks.

For his career, Dale made 74 tackles in 48 appearances. That includes 11.5 stops for loss and 5.5 sacks. He also recovered one fumble in three of his four seasons.
