It’s getting close to crunch time in the high school football playoffs.

Tonight, we find out which four teams are in the 7A semifinals and which teams make the 1A-6A quarterfinals in the race to Birmingham for the Super 7.

Key matchups all over the state include Thompson at No. 1 Auburn in 7A, Clay-Chalkville at Muscle Shoals and Hartselle at Oxford in 6A and St. Michael at Pleasant Grove in 4A. And that’s just four games in a titanic schedule.
