Football High Live: Scores, highlights from Thursday’s Week 1 games

The 2024 high school football season officially kicks off tonight with multiple big games across the state.

The slate features one nationally televised game as Thompson hosts Grayson, Ga., at 7 p.m. on ESPN2.

Other featured games include former Hoover coach Josh Niblett returning to the state with his Gainesville, Ga., team to take on Moody, Eastern Shore rivals Spanish Fort and Fairhope battling in Fairhope and Reeltown taking on T.R. Miller in the first game of the AHSAA Kickoff Classic in Montgomery.
