Football High Live: Highlights from Friday’s Week 2 action
Week 2 of the Alabama high school football season swings into full gear tonight after a handful of games on Thursday.
In the most high-profile Thursday game, Class 2A No. 1 Pisgah knocked off Class 3A No. 1 Fyffe 30-22 before a huge crowd in North Alabama.

Tonight features both the Birmingham News Game of the Week with Spain Park traveling to play rival Hoover and the Press-Register Game of the Week with reigning 5A champ Gulf Shores heading to Semmes to play 7A semifinalist Mary G. Montgomery.
Other games to keep an eye on include Brooks at West Morgan, Buckhorn at Athens, Decatur at Austin, Parker at Mountain Brook, Vestavia Hills at Auburn and Spanish Fort at Theodore.
