1 Rushing TD has been scored against Georgia’s defense this season. Every other team in the nation has yielded at least three in 2022. The Florida offense has scored 20 rushing TDs this season.

2 Previous games for Georgia against Florida with the Bulldogs ranked No. 1 in the AP Poll. The first resulted in the most lopsided league game in SEC history when No. 1 Georgia defeated Florida 75-0 on Nov. 7, 1942. Last year, No. 1 Georgia defeated Florida 34-7.

3 Teams in the nation have allowed their opponents to convert at least half of their third-down snaps into first downs this season, including Florida. The 97 third-down plays against the Gators defense have yielded 51 first downs. One team has allowed its opponents to succeed on third-down at a greater rate than Florida – Colorado at 52.81 percent. Florida has allowed a conversion rate of 52.58 percent. The only other team allowing its opponents to turn third downs into first downs at least half the time is Oregon at 50.53 percent. The Georgia offense has converted 52.38 percent of its third-down snaps into first downs (44-of-84), the best rate in the SEC and the eighth-best in the nation.

5 Consecutive Florida games have featured WR Justin Shorter as the Gators’ leader in receiving yards. Shorter is Florida’s season leader with 405 yards and two TDs on 18 receptions.

6.4 Yards have been averaged per rushing attempt by Florida, the highest in the nation. The Gators rank 16th nationally in rushing offense with an average of 213.1 yards per game on the ground even though they rank 97th in rushing attempts per game with an average of 33.4. Georgia ranks fourth in the nation in rushing defense, yielding an average of 83.3 yards per game. The Bulldogs’ opponents have averaged gaining 3.3 yards on 177 rushing attempts.

15 Consecutive conference games have been won by Georgia. The Bulldogs have had one longer winning streak in SEC play. A 23-game streak across the 1980, 1981, 1982 and 1983 seasons was ended by a 13-7 loss to Auburn on Nov. 12, 1983.

16 Previous games in the series have featured a ranked Georgia team against an unranked Florida team. The Bulldogs have won 13 of those games. The Gators’ upsets came over No. 19 Georgia in 1986, No. 10 Georgia in 2004 and No. 20 Georgia in 2014.

Florida has three wins and Georgia has six wins when both teams are coming off byes, as is the case this season.

21 Consecutive games have featured at least 20 points for Georgia, the longest such streak in school history. Since Georgia defeated Clemson 10-3 to kick off the 2021 season, the Bulldogs haven’t scored fewer than 24 points in any game. The SEC record for consecutive games scoring at least 20 points is 40 by Alabama, a streak that ended in the Crimson Tide’s 33-18 loss to Georgia in the CFP national championship game on Jan. 10, 2022. Georgia’s current streak is the 13th-longest with at least 20 points in SEC history. For SEC streaks of 24 or more points, Georgia is tied for the fourth-longest, with a 34-game streak by Alabama at No. 1.

53 Victories for Georgia (or 54, depending on which team’s records are used), 44 victories for Florida and two ties in the series. Florida does not count a 52-0 Georgia victory in Macon, Georgia, in 1904. The Bulldogs lead 47-41-1 in games played in Jacksonville. The teams have squared off annually since 1926, with the exception of the 1943 season. By Florida’s count, Saturday’s game is the 100th between the Gators and Bulldogs.

336 Rushing yards for Georgia RB Daijun Edwards in 2022, the fewest for an SEC team leader.

351 Games have been played by Georgia since it was most recently shut out, the second-longest scoring streak in SEC history and the sixth-longest in major-college football history. The Bulldogs haven’t been blanked since losing to Alabama 31-0 on Sept. 30, 1995.

430 Games have been played by Florida since it was most recently shut out, the longest scoring streak in major-college football history by 57 games. The Gators haven’t been blanked since losing to Auburn 16-0 on Oct. 29, 1988.

2,033 Passing yards for Georgia QB Stetson Bennett in 2022, the most for a Bulldogs’ player in the first seven games of a season this century. Stetson has 51 more passing yards than David Greene had for Georgia seven games into the 2001 campaign.
